Caterpillar Announces Date of Annual Meeting of Stockholders

PEORIA, Ill. – Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) will conduct its 2016 annual meeting of stockholders on Wednesday, June 8, at 8 a.m. EDT in Muncie, Indiana, where the company manufactures Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD) locomotives through its wholly owned subsidiary Progress Rail Services Corporation. The proxy statement containing the meeting details and admission procedures is expected to be available no later than the first week in May to stockholders of record as of April 11, 2016.
