Best Company to Work for in Brazil

PIRACICABA – Caterpillar was named the Best Company to Work for in Brazil. Hundreds of Brazilian Caterpillar employees watched as the award was announced by the Great Place to Work Institute in an online ceremony broadcasted on October 18. The 150 top companies ranked in the 2021 guide will be published in the upcoming issue of the Época NEGÓCIOS magazine. 

“We have been successful in building resilient teams which proved effective in unprecedented times like these. Our team prides itself in creating and developing solutions that make it possible for our customers to make the world a better place. They value the equality they find in the workplace with opportunities regardless of color, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. This demonstrates our efforts to develop a diverse and inclusive environment withing Caterpillar and with our dealers, partners and customers,” said Odair Renosto, general manager of Caterpillar Brasil.

Caterpillar was ranked in the “Large Company” category (more than 1,000 employees). This is the fifth time Caterpillar has been awarded first place; the fourth year in a row. Previous awards were in 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2009. With the 2021 recognition, Caterpillar is the only company in Brazil to remain part of the select top 10 group for 15 consecutive years.  

The ranking is developed by the Great Place to Work Institute, which received applications of more than 4,000 companies in Brazil that employ 1.8 million people.
