Caterpillar FIRST Alumni 

Caterpillar is the first corporation to form a FIRST Alumni organization which consists of more than 30 FIRST alumni working at 13 locations in 3 states.  The Caterpillar FIRST Alumni organization supports FIRST teams and events through their volunteer efforts and contributed more than 6,000 volunteer hours in 2019.  The organization was awarded the FIRST Volunteer of the Year Award at the 2019 Central Illinois Regional FIRST Robotics Competition for their exceptional efforts which included serving as Head Referee, Lead Robot Inspector and CSA, field set up/disassembly and individual team mentor roles.
