Caterpillar Ventures recently committed to invest in Emerald Industrial Innovation Fund LP (Emerald). Emerald has an established presence in the European venture capital markets. It invests in early and expansion stage companies in energy, industrial IT, advanced materials, and water technologies.  The investment in Emerald will provide Caterpillar with additional visibility to the technology innovation in European venture capital market.
