Christophe Pelé

Christophe Pelé is a senior vice president of Caterpillar Inc., responsible for EAME Distribution, providing governance and administration of Cat^® dealers across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Eurasia.

Since joining Caterpillar in 2005, he has held multiple finance, marketing and managerial positions, including corporate & trade finance, sales & marketing, acquisition & divestiture, dealer development, and administration. Prior to the Caterpillar board of directors naming Christophe Pelé, vice president of EAME Distribution, his responsibilities included area, district and regional manager positions across Eurasia, Africa, and the Middle East based in Switzerland, Russia, Kazakhstan, Senegal, the Ivory Coast, and the United Arab Emirates.

Pelé has been serving on the board of directors of the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) and the global board of the Caterpillar Women in Leadership Network.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Emlyon Business School, France, and a master’s in international relations from the National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan. He also completed Caterpillar’s Executive Leadership Development Program in partnership with Duke University, U.S., and the Board of Directors Program from IMD, International Institute for Management Development, Switzerland.
