Caterpillar and IYF Train Young People to Enter the Workforce
To address the challenges young people face when entering the labor force or starting their own business, the International Youth Foundation (IYF) and Caterpillar Foundation have launched EquipYouth, a program to provide 8,000 young people worldwide with market-relevant life skills training along with internships, on-the-job training and employment placement services. The program benefits youth in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, and South Korea.
