Overview
Each year Caterpillar employees demonstrate community support and leadership by taking part in the Caterpillar United Way Appeal. Caterpillar has supported United Way for more than 70 years ensuring the health, welfare and economic stability of communities where we live and work.
Investing with United Way is an efficient, effective way to support your community. Organizations United Way funds are vetted for excellence, selected in collaboration with communities to ensure they address priority needs and evaluated for their outcomes and impact. Caterpillar is proud to support our communities through the United Way.
In addition, the Caterpillar Foundation is proud to match employee and retiree contributions dollar-for-dollar with no cap. One hundred percent of all contributions submitted through the online pledge system are distributed back to the United Way chapter of your choice, along with the match.
Caterpillar Participant Eligibility
Eligible Caterpillar participants are limited to:
- Full & part time Caterpillar, Solar & Progress Rail employees on U.S. payroll
- Full & part time Caterpillar employees on Mexico payroll
- Full & part time Caterpillar employees on Panama payroll
- Full & part time Caterpillar employees on Canada payroll
- U.S.-based Caterpillar retirees
- ISEs on a non-U.S. payroll system currently working in the U.S. can request a pledge profile to be created in order to submit a pledge through credit card payment ONLY. To do so, email [email protected] and provide your HR ID number and name.
The 2023-2024 Caterpillar United Way Appeal pledging site is now closed. Our campaign is open during the month of August each year. Please revisit our page at that time.
