Leading by example to inspire future doers 

At Caterpillar, you can build what matters to you. For Luciana, that meant building a lifelong career, as she recently took on a new role as the first female facility manager for the Campo Largo facility in Brazil where she will be managing a plant that produces 40 machines a day with 1,000 employees. The products made in Campo Largo support customers in Brazil and around the world.

Within her new role, Luciana is prioritizing the next generation of world builders. She hopes to inspire her team members to work toward long-term careers with Caterpillar by applying their talents to achieve both personal and companywide goals, just as she has done.

“I love the opportunity to be here at this incredible moment of production ramp up and, at the same time, with so many global challenges in the supply chain. There are numerous strategies to put in place to collect good results. Also, I’m excited about the possibility to work with this amazing team and be able to impact their careers and lives,” she said.

Luciana hopes to be an inspiration to other women seeking leadership roles within Caterpillar and is a strong supporter of Caterpillar’s Women’s Initiative Network, one of Caterpillar’s 14 employee resource groups.
